We have now moved into our new workshop where we will be making our plastic free shampoo Kubes and zero waste beauty products.
As we have received such a great response to our Beauty Kubes since our launch in February, we have had to move into a slightly bigger unit, so we can keep up with demand. All our products are made by hand, each box of 27 Beauty Kubes is hand mixed and then made into individual Kubes, then hand packed into our recyclable cardboard boxes and lined with biodegradable paper.
When we send out each order, we only use recyclable, paper packing materials and plastic-free, paper packing tape.
We chose a sustainable business centre near Camelford, Cornwall for several reasons. First, it is a friendly, family run business that is steadily growing, they are building more and more units each year to support local Cornish businesses like ours, so it's great to be part of a business community and meet other like-minded businesses. We have already met an exciting Mexican Street food company!
Secondly, we wanted to find somewhere that shared the sustainable ethos of our company. At Tregath Business Park, the electricity is powered by both wind turbine and solar panels, so we know that all the electricity that we use to make our Beauty Kubes comes from sustainable energy sources.
We are looking forward to making our first batches of Beauty Kubes, our new plastic free conditioner and our exciting new Hair and Body wash this week. Look out for details of the launch of these exciting new products which will be on sale first at The Market, Cornwall on Saturday 2nd June a fabulous artisan market full of Cornish designers and makers.
